How We Got Started
Here's a little video Runner's World put together about us! They profiled the company in both print and online. You can read the piece on our We're Famous! page.

Take advantage of our FREE ‘Meet & Greet’ run to check for fitness and temperament. It gives us the chance to meet and for you to ask any questions, or give any special instructions regarding your pet. This is a no cost way to make sure we deliver on our promise. We'll take a quick spin around the neighborhood to make sure that we get along and respond well to each other. It's the first step in building on our new relationship!
These sessions are typically scheduled during the evening or on weekends when owners are usually available, but we are happy to do it whenever!
From here we can determine if s\he is ready to run or would benefit from our walking to running program while they build up endurance. We've run with hundreds of dogs in the DMV and have learned that dogs like humans may need to be worked into shape. Get Started Today!
Run With Your Own Dog
D.C. Dog Runner has grown to become one of “The Best Dog Runners In The Country.” We have done our best to provide a service that helps dogs with physical and mental fitness. I was asked to write a book about our experiences and provide a reference guide to running with your dog.
For those of you who do not live in the Washington D.C. area and cannot hire us to run with your dog, we can help you become the runner your dog needs or help you find the right fit for him!
This project has been so fulfilling and has allowed us to help many more people (& dogs) than we could with our local D.C. service. If you are looking for tips to help you understand all the things involved in safely running your dog, or if you just love incredible photos of handsome dogs, this book is for you
